Well, after showing some symptoms for a few months now, we finally saw a specialist yesterday and got a diagnosis for Davin’s condition. He has hyperlexia*, which doesn’t have a lot of treatment options. Brandon and I feel responsible, even though it’s likely genetics or he just picked it up from the environment. The specialist** recommended one treatment which was just to keep reading books with him.
