Hi Faithful Readers!
Well, things are changing around here, and it is getting Crazy!
The plans are in the works to take another epic roadtrip! This time, with a 2.85 year old and a 4 month old. CrazyEpic. – Or should I say, “Epic Crazy”?!
Here is our proposed plan: STL to QCA, QCA (to see the Wades/Franks/Guerins. Then to the Badlands / Black Hills, to Billings, MT for Olivia’s wedding August 3rd, then to Salt Lake City to visit some cool friends (Mer, Steve and NateDog) and then to Denver, CO for a bike race August 19th-25th (and to see 95% of his current clients) along with seeing Rachel and Rebecca. Then back through Lawrence, KS to hug some friends and then KC to throw a disc with Allen and back to STL before Oma has a conniption fit from missing the boys.
GoogleMaps says 3,400 mi and 50 hours of driving in a car. (sans kids).
We are hoping to travel by RV and make it a 6 week trip.
(Can’t travel too fast with the young ‘ins!)
This is still tentative, but it is fun to dream!
Pass on your positive mojo that we can figure out how I can work on and off during the trip.
In other news, Jen (and I) are working to keep Jen home with the boys, and because of the decrease in income, we are looking to saw our house in half.
We might also look into finding a new dwelling by a good school or two.
Uh………..uh……..uh……..mmmmmmmm.
Ok, for my positive mojo now – sounds interesting – and do-able!!! Some good ideas! Obviously, you have both been pondering this situation for many months now, and some plans are coming together! Lots of good stops along the journey. It will be interesting to see how the 2007 trip with Jessica??? compares to traveling with DA BOYS!!! I think you need to add another couple thousand miles, tho, to really test the RV properly.
And, the work/house thing – it’s all so exciting to figure it out! Good luck on this EPIC journey!

I didn’t see a stop in Jacksonville on the way to QC. We have a big yard for Fos to play in. Just a thought.
